Our first moments of the day set the precedence for the mood of the rest of our waking hours. When you wake up plan a few moments for meditation. If you are more familiar with meditating, then this can be done within your commute to your daily responsibilities. Starting your day from a peaceful place can offer the ability to transform your daily life.
A sweet breath of relief. The world is as it should be. You are perfect. Everything is happening in its perfect moment.
Just as a prism refracts many colors, our hearts refract many emotions. Realize that you are not these emotions. These emotions are a state of your existence. These emotions can flow through you without consuming you. Life is much easier when your concentration is focused on merely being. To obtain the observer state an individual must look past personal interjections and opinions without passing judgements.
All judgements are relative to outside forces and experiences that do no necessarily attribute merit to the current situation. The ability to find oneself in a born again innocent state.
Sometimes in life all of the dividends of decisions can add up to make an enormous whole. Overwhelmed and frustrated by the ever growing demand place upon us by our current world economy people are confronted with negative emotions. The teachings of many shamans can show that repression of angry, fear-driven or hurt emotions can only cause a permanent scar to wear on the metaphorical sleeve.
Look not to holding in these feelings. Let yourself express them. Let them wash through you and out like a wave. The further under the water you submerge your body, the less the friction of the currents will move you about.
Once they have past, you can look out onto new waters. Your perception makes up a greater toll of the how the world treats you than can be imagined.
Sometimes in life are remembered for how they touch our soul. Love is flowing through every moment and cell of your body. Remember a time in your life when someone deeply touched you with their love. The power of the joy they gave to you. It would nice to live in a world where people focused their time on how they can make others have more tender moments than harsh realities.
I am a child of Earth and meditation. I recognize other cultures may share similar positive qualities as mine. One of those qualities being meditation, positive though or prayer. I am thankful that that my knowledge keeps expanding everyday.
Every action has a reaction so what follows the reaction?
The egg is the symbol of birth and rebirth. The buddhist says that man dies every second and is reborn again. Rebirth does not have to mean death or religious change. It can mean reformatting a thought structure or perhaps a behavior pattern. It is desirable to have a life that constantly renews itself. Meditation is a trigger to help aid in new rebirth in your life.
Relax. Often people say that their thoughts overwhelm them too much when they’re trying to mediate. A simple exercise I use to prevent this is to let the thoughts come. Don’t stop them. Also don’t hold on to them. Allow them to flow through your mind like a running stream in and out and eventually there are no thoughts left to flow.
